Living Waters merges a historically-based image of Christ with one that still feels visually familiar and spiritually strong.

Christ's facial features and ethnicity portray what a Jewish Galilean man in the first century might have looked like. Christ's hair and beard have been left longer reminiscent to the familiar (anglicized) images I grew up with.

To depict the Savior as powerful and life-giving, I employed abstract teals and turquoise elements denoting Christ as the living water. He enlivens and sustains us. He is the key element to our mortal and eternal lives.

Archival Chromogenic Photographic Prints (C-Prints): these prints are made using Kodak Professional Endura Premier Paper
