Rocks Turned Light (Brother of Jared)
 The Lord asks the Brother of Jared to prepare a way to light the barges for the journey to the promised land. The Brother of Jared prepares a few stones as a solution. He asks the Lord in faith to touch the stones with his finger to light them.
The Lord expects much of us. Sometimes the expectations are daunting and our contributions feel more like rocks, unable to fulfill their purpose. Only through the power of Jesus Christ can our meager contributions be made adequate to the problem at hand. Our stones turned to light through the atoning power of Jesus Christ provides light to illuminate our journey. 
In like manner we can present our stones, or our burdens to the Lord. He will touch them with his finger and make them light. 
The atoning power of Jesus Christ allows us to witness miracles. It allows for our inadequate offerings to be made effectual. It allows our trials to become lighter. Through faith, we are given the chance to see His hand and influence in our lives.
